The two detectives returned to the office. At his
desk Dannaks shoved a box to get to his keyboard.
He made a cursory check of the room. Nobody
appeared to be paying them any attention.

A search brought only one hit that fit perfectly.
Norbert Kabel had been a corrupt Hamburg
detective. He had been on the take. Before he
could be arrested he shot himself with his service
weapon. There was more, but Dannaks didn't read
any further. He marked the entire text and sent it
to the printer.
"It's enough for me," said Dannaks.
Uwe spoke quietly too. "What do you think of
the change?"
"It's crap, of course. Before it, we were already
at the edge of the abyss. Now we're just one step
further. If they're on to him then it is
disinformation."
On the way to Detlef's office Dannaks grabbed
the printout.
